# Token Economics

The project will develop its own native token, named the BAI (Blockchain AI). The BAI token will function as a utility token within the ecosystem and facilitate access to the platform.

Users can acquire BAI tokens through various mechanisms including but not limited to: Purchasing from cryptocurrency exchanges.

Earning through contribution to the platform - developing new tools, identifying bugs, promoting the platform, running agents, etc.

The project's tokenomics have been deliberately designed to foster a sustainable and equitable ecosystem. The total supply of $BAI token is 6,000,000, with a controlled release plan over several years to ensure a steady and balanced token supply.

The initial sale of tokens will be handled via a smart contract implemented by our project. Users will be able to purchase tokens at a fixed price of one dollar each for the first year sale.

### **PROJECT ALLOCATION (1,000,000 $BAI)**

**Year 1** (2023/2024)**:**

* **500,000 $BAI for Sale:** Tokens are available at a fixed price of $1 each.
  * **120,000 $BAI** to Waves DA&#x4F;**:** \
    In return for $100,000 in seed funding, these tokens include a 20% bonus, distributed six months post-allocation.
  * **180,000 $BAI sold during the Private Sale:** \
    Sold at $1 per token, including a 10% bonus distributed 3 months after the sale ends.
  * **200,000 $BAI for the Public Sale:** \
    Available during the Public Sale (May 15 to May 29 2024) at a fixed price of $1.2. The Public Sale will last for two weeks. Any tokens unsold at the conclusion of this period will be returned to the project treasury. Following this, the token will officially begin trading on decentralized and centralized exchanges (DEX/CEX) and automated market makers (AMM).

**Year 2** (2024/2025)**:** Up to **300,000 $BAI** will be sold at market prices.\
**Year 3** (2025/2026)**:** Up to **200,000 $BAI** will be sold at market prices.\
Funds from these sales support operational costs such as taxes, salaries, and special projects like exchange listings and community events. Tokens <mark style="color:blue;">**will only be sold as necessary**</mark>.

### **TEAM ALLOCATION (1,000,000 $BAI)**

* Reserved for the development team to incentivize long-term dedication, disbursed in full after three years from the token creation date ([June 30, 2023](https://wavesexplorer.com/addresses/3PCi5XVx7biaL7y5zAoR3YFmifAFnUAs7bY)).

### **BAI DAO ALLOCATION (4,000,000 $BAI)**

* The disposition of the remaining tokens will be governed through on-chain voting by the project team and community.
